July News

We've been busy this month! Nana and Pop pop took us to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA. It's a great place for toddlers - lots of rides that they can ride themselves and some that mom and dad can ride with them. We don't recommend the Tilt a Turtle - Karl and I both were ready to throw up after a spin on it! But, the pony ride and splash park were big hits!

As usual, Anna enjoys striking a pose in front of the camera, here are two of the sillier pics from this month

Charlie is getting bigger and enjoying his real food. He weighed in at 17 lbs, 26 1/2 inches at his five month appointment and has been eating bananas, mango, pears, peaches, sweet potatoes, avacado, carrots, prunes, applesauce and yogurt. Let's just say he's not picky. He's also had his first trip to the ER - poor baby has been a bit under the weather since we got back from vacation. I'm happy to report that he's on medicine and seems to be much better.

Here are a few shots of his five month photo shoot!

and, this is Anna and Charlie sharing an eskimo kiss before bed. I love how much Anna loves her baby brother!

July 4th Parade

For the 4th of July, we went to the Palisades Parade, which is about two miles from our house. We went with Molly, Vince and their kids, Henry and Eleanor. I don't think any of us were expecting the fun that we ended up having. It was a two hour parade, complete with candy, dancers, bands, plenty of politicians and lots of sunshine. We had a blast and hope that we've started a new family tradition. Here are a few pics of our trip to the parade.

Poor Charlie - Anna loves to 'hold' him.....

As you can tell, Anna was ecstatic!
