No More Nuks!
It's time to get rid of Anna's beloved mimi - aka paci, aka nuk, aka Anna's best friend. She is a horrible sleeper and wants the silly little piece of plastic all of the time even though we do only let her have it during nap and bedtimes. Enough if enough though - after Karl spent a good hour last night trying to calm her after she couldn't find her mimi in bed, we decided that she's getting off the junk. Wish us luck!

Wow -I do wish you luck! Riley is 2.5 and has been cut off 2x's now. At this point she is insisting that she "IS" a baby at night time and neeeeeeeeds it. I have chosen my battles and right now that is not one. I think Ri needs abandon it before it disintegrates on her. (She prefer's teh 0-6month size, so it has been around a while;) Mercy.
Also to note. I have heard of parents cutting the nuks down a bit at a time so that after a few weeks, there is very little rubber left on the Nuk, leaving it difficult to keep in a mouth. Just do it before your kid is smart enough to ask for a new "unbroken" one.
